The Canton Rugby Football Club Foundation is a non-profit organization and has been promoting the development of amateur rugby in the Stark County area for K-5th grade, middle school, high school, and men’s rugby levels for more than 40 years. The Canton RFC Foundation vision is to provide every person in the Stark County area an opportunity to learn, play, and be involved with Rugby.

 

This was only possible by the enormous effort from our volunteers and the generous donations of our local sponsors. As we look forward, we have more goals and even more work ahead of us. Every year, there are kids that do not have the opportunity to play Rugby due to financial hurdles. In 2016, the Canton RFC officially introduced the Dan Sturtz Memorial Fund in memory of our past president whose passion was to provide youths with the opportunity to play rugby. The Canton RFC goal is to raise enough funds for 5 kids to have the opportunity to play middle or high school rugby, who otherwise would not have been able.

 

Additionally, the Canton RFC is looking to purchase new kits for our Stark County High School Team and the Canton Maddogs Men’s Team in preparation for competing on the national stage in the USA Rugby's DIV Midwest Region.
