Canton Rugby Football Club Foundation
The Canton Rugby Football Club Foundation has been created to support the advancement of youth rugby in the Stark County area. Through volunteer work and tax-exempt charitable donations, the foundation hopes to achieve these goals within the next few years.
For over 30 years the Canton Rugby Men's Club has been promoting the development of national amateur rugby in the Stark County area. This has been possible due to the volunteer efforts by the members of this not for profit organization.
In 2004 the Canton Rugby Football Club Foundation was established in order to further the development of the sport. One of the primary objectives of the foundation is the support of a youth rugby programs in the Stark County area. This program will be affiliated with an already established programs both state and nationwide.
CRFCF members have already been instrumental in establishing one area high school team for young men to go along with the Canton Rugby Men's Club which was established in 1976 by the Canton Rugby Founders and their Successors. In addition to increasing the number of high school programs, CRFCF will continue to stimulate interest and participation through clinics, and through the establishment of a youth development league for children under the age of 15.
The Foundation's fund raising will be used to ensure that under served children are afforded an equal opportunity to participate.

Youth Rugby 7's League (ages 11 to 14) - This is a new initiative. Planning is underway to start in spring 2011 with our first Stark county middle school rugby 7's league. The league will follow the USA Rugby Youth Law Guidelines playing format and will focus on developing the fundamentals of running, passing, support, and defensive coverage.
Like most sports organizations the manpower to meet our objectives will be on a volunteer basis. However, there will be costs associated with fields, equipment and uniforms. We need your help in raising funds to continue the programs. You can become a partner in the important undertaking by participating in one of the following ways:
